TG2013_01TEDGlobal has always provided a better platform for many car makers around the world to come together to share better ideas that they can use to improve their technologies and vehicles in the future. Renault and Nissan have made an announcement that they are forming an alliance that will focus on zero emission mobility for all. Both automakers believe that the electric vehicle revolution has already begun and therefore they need to focus on future technologies that are related to electric vehicles and the emissions that they emit.

Both the companies will come together in Edinburgh, Scotland’s historic city where TEDGlobal annual conference is happening to share their expertise and ideas. The auto companies said that it will be interesting to see and share and learn more from each other and work on how they can come up with better ideas that can add to their current technology. Renault and Nissan also said that the conference will also have many electric vehicles that will take ferry speakers across the city. The automakers said that the conference will make use of Renault Zoe, Renault Twizy and Nissan LEAF. All the three cars are electric cars and will offer some better rides to the people in the city.

Renault also said that they will come up with a special conference where they will discuss on how Renault Zoe works. It will also have a booth where they can recharge the vehicles. On the other hand, Nissan will also share information on Nissan LEAF to Home technology that allows Nissan LEAF to get charged through electrical systems in a home.
