To accompany the new A3 e Tron technology, Audi announced to launch its new green electricity energy car LichtBlick to its customers in Germany. This will enable Audi to deliver one of the best zero emission cars for its customers. With this car, Audi will become the newest member of the green energy provider. The new A3 e Tron is expected to hit the dealership in Europe in the coming months therefore, Audi partnered with Hamburg energy provider LichtBlick SE to make it possible for customer to access the exclusive electricity that is released from hydro-electric power station in Germany.

Audi A3 Sportback e-tron

The partnership will enable Audi to provide a convenient source of energy to its German customers to recharge their vehicles using LichtBlick SE at their home. Customers can even get a full supply for their home with this renewable energy. The energy is currently available for a monthly fee that is set at €8.95 (£7.44) and 26.76 cents per kilowatt-hour. The Audi A3 e Tron features a plug-in hybrid drivetrain that can push the car up to 31 miles on electric only mode. The car is equipped with a 1.4 liter TFSi engine that can produce 150PS. It is also paired with a 75kW electric motor that makes it a bit more powerful compared to its A3 models.

Together the two power sources can produce a sum of 350PS and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 7.6 seconds at a top speed of 138 mph. pricing details together with release date will be announced on a later date.
