Interior

The cabin of the new 2013 Ferrari California is almost similar to other Ferrari models. This is a 4 seat car while the rear seats are perfect for kids only seats are leather trimmed. Other features include a luggage shelf, electronic hand-brake, gearbox and roof control, major control, analogue speedometer, dials and a very neat feel of the cabin. The cabin faced a bit of criticism because some parts of the cabin are finished with hard plastic. Similarly, the analogue speedometer is difficult to read.

Powertrain and Performance

The new 2013 Ferrari California has a 4.3 liter V8 engine fitted in the heart of this car that can produce 490 horsepower at 7,750rpm with a torque of 372 lb ft at 5,000rpm. The car is basically a rear wheel drive that displaces about 4297cc. The Powertrain of the car is mated with a dual clutch seven speed automated transmission box. The performance of the car is also very good and the engine can push the car from 0mph to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. The fuel economy of the car is 13mpg city and 19mpg highway and has a CO2 emission of 6,850kg/year.

Safety

The 2013 Ferrari California has some good safety features including traction control, stability control, driver and front passenger seat belts, front and rear disc ABS brakes and four airbags.
