After a few years break, the popular Audi S8 Sedan returned to the market in a more defined, stronger, appealing and quicker style performance wise, the lineup of Audi’s sedan was already very strong and a little modification made it one of the high performance and fuel efficient cars.

The 2013 Audi S8 is offered in a single trim level that features 21 inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, top view camera, keyless entry, adaptive air suspension, automatic high beams, power folding and auto dimming mirrors, 22 way adjustable heated front seats, soft close power doors, front and rear park assist, power tilt and telescoping wheel, Four zone automatic climate control, diamond stitched leather upholstery, headlight washers, power trunk lid, carbon and aluminum Atlas cabin accents, Navigation system, sunroof, Bose surround sound system with CD player, Audi Connect, Audi’s MMI electronics interface, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, an iPod interface and satellite radio.

Additional to the long list of standard features, the 2013 Audi S8 also offer a number of customizable packages with a number of features like Driver Assistance package, Cold weather package and lots of individual features.

The new 2013 Audi S8 comes equipped with a powerful 4.0 liter Turbocharged V8 engine that delivers 520 horsepower and a torque of 479 lb ft. Audi claims that the car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds with an EPA estimated fuel economy is 15 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. The best thing about this engine is that it delivers 16% more power and 27% more power efficiency.

Safety

Antilock disc brakes, front, side, rear, side and full length side curtain airbags, front knee airbags, front/rear parking sensors, stability control, traction control and top view camera. Blind spot monitoring system and Lane departure alert are optional.

Pricing and Competition

The base price of the 2013 Audi S8 is $110,000. The key rivals of the Audi S8 are Jaguar XJ Supersport, Mercedes Benz S63 AMG, Porsche Panorama Turbo and BMW Alpina B7.
